Winemaking Notes

In life and in the wine industry the sum is often better than the parts. Our awesome collaboration project continues with the production of Swordfight. A tradition since 2009. Rotie provides the Mourvèdre, sourced from Wallula Vineyard, and El Corazon contributes the Syrah from Phinny Hill.

Tasting Notes

"Enticing aromas of wild berries... and crushed roses, mulberry, sweet tobacco, garrigue and spiced incense. The medium full-bodied flavors mirror the aromatics with red and black fruits that are intermixed with licorice, cocoa, French roast and scorched earth minerals, The back reveals sensations of macerated berries, roasted nuts, crème de cassis, autumn leaves and charcoal, all marching on into a lingering spiced, (nutmeg, clove) ripe moderate tannin and acid finish." -Rand Sealy
