Featuring a host of boutique stores with their most current bag & purse designs on display and 32 Northwest wineries pouring an array of their delicious wines, and of course, firefighters on hand to sell and sign their 2010 Calendars! This is a fashion and wine event and is very popular with women, one the fastest growing segments amongst wine buyers in the country. Fundraiser for Gilda's Club cancer support center. Most of the women who buy tickets and attend this fundraiser will bring a new or almost new purse for the silent auction portion of the event. There will be 8 tables down the middle of the room which will hold 300 of these bags. To add to the excitement, we’ll have fashionista Joan Kelly auctioning off special handbags signed & donated by celebrities, including Carol Burnett, Olivia Newton John, Shawn Johnson, Tina Fey, Sharon Osbourne, Regina King, Lili Taylor, Sweet P, Scarlett Johansson and Indigo Girls' Amy Ray! And the most unique handbag to be auctioned will be one specially decorated by famed glass artist, Dale Chihuly.
We hope you would like to be featured in this popular event and help us raise money for Gilda's Club of Seattle, a support center for those living with cancer and their families, founded in honor of Gilda Radner after her death from ovarian cancer.
